On the occasion of the International Children’s Day, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak participated in the festivities in Bucha and Borodianka, Kyiv Oblast.
On greeting the participants of the festivities in recreation park in Bucha, Volodymyr Rybak expressed his sincere pleasure to see creative achievements of city’s children, congratulated all the present with holiday that dates back to 1949.
“Future of our state depends on how children will grow,” he stressed and underlined that “it is the children who will live in future rich prospering country, and today we have to do everything for their proper development.”
He reminded that on the initiative of the President of Ukraine this year is the year of children’s creativity.
“Children upbringing must be our daily prior task, but not residual,” the Chairman of Parliament stressed, underlining again that today we have to encompass children with constant care, “to create everyday holiday for every child.”
Volodymyr Rybak visited also regional holiday “Bloom of Childhood” in Borodianka. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada together with leadership of the Kyiv Oblast congratulated and presented valuable gifts to the students who reached the best results in education, sport, gained victory in student’s Olympiads on all the levels.
The Chairman Parliament opened the International Annual Festival of Model Airplane Sport Masters on the airport near Borodianka. On greeting the guests and participants of the holiday, Volodymyr Rybak noted that the sky near Borodianka in the third time accepts competition of the best pilots and constructors form 15 countries of Europe and Asia, and, according to him, this is one of the biggest platform for airplane modeling sport, popularization of technical sports, airplane modeling, and the most important – it encourages young people to healthy way of life.
Volodymyr Rybak wished “cloudless sky, and equal number of takeoffs and landings.” Examining represented models and their performance in the air, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed that “today we once again ascertained that aviation, planes of different labels and constructions does not leave many people indifferent.”
